Dependable Quality
Fairfield Textile is dedicated to providing our customers with a dependable source of high
quality fabric.  We only have one dyer,
Martin Corporation, who will stand behind all
claims. We work closely with both foreign and domestic mills and only process the highest
quality fabrics. Before a new fabric source is used we always process samples and proceed
with trial production runs to ensure the fabric will reliably meet our high quality standards.

Martexin Original Wax  Care
Martexin Original Wax is a highly specialized textile that precludes normal cleaning. Just as
you wouldn't’t wash a leather product such as shoes, gloves, or jackets, you won’t be able
to wash or dry clean your Martexin Original Wax. Wax fabrics have been successfully used
for many years without washing.  A periodic cleaning with a hose, damp cloth is all that is
needed.  Bare areas can be refinished with our Martexin Original Wax refinishing compound
which can help restore the wax finish.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Company Checks, Wire Transfers, PayPal
and may be able to offer net 30 day terms for quick and easy payment of your order.

Martin Dyeing and Finishing created the trademark Martexin™ for its waxed fabrics which they have produced
since 1930. We are currently selling Martexin
Original Wax to assure you of the original genuine high quality
product. Waxwear™ is not our trademark but was finished by Martin using the same Martexin™ wax finish.
After many years Martin decided to no longer support the Waxwear™ supplier in Maryland for the following
reasons, marginal grey quality, lack of inventory, lack of colors and fabric constructions, and most importantly
their insistence that we did not have a relationship with the customer.  If you currently purchase Waxwear
fabric it is either old inventory or is an imitation of the Martexin™ finish.
